In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), it is our policy to respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.

If you believe that your copyrighted material has been infringed upon on our website, you may submit a written notification of the alleged infringement to us, as outlined below.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent of a copyright owner, and you believe that any content on Maharashtra PCC infringes your copyright, you may file a notice of copyright infringement with the following information in accordance with the DMCA:

  6. Signature: The notice must include the physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Upon receiving your DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • Notify the user who posted the material of the removal.
  • Investigate and address repeat infringers in compliance with the DMCA.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that the content removed under the DMCA notice was not infringing or that you have the proper authorization to use the copyrighted material, you may send a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include the following information:

  1. Identification of the removed material: Describe the content that was removed and its location on our website before it was removed.
  2. Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  3. Contact information: Include your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Statement of consent: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you reside or, if you are outside the United States, that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts located in the United States, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA complaint.
  5. Signature: The notice must include your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving your counter-notification, we may restore the content in question unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order to keep the material removed.

Repeat Infringers

Maharashtra PCC takes copyright infringement seriously. In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we will terminate user accounts and block access to our services for users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
